GammaRebels, one of the top 100 most influential accelerators globally according to a 2015 ranking*, is proud to announce that it has teamed up with Startup Next, a Techstars program, to run a pre-acceleration program in Warsaw.
Startup Next Warsaw will bring together a number of experienced specialists and mentors to help provide early-stage startups with the support needed to take their projects forward.
Applications are already open for the Warsaw edition, which kicks off on January 14, 2016.
The program is designed in such a way that founders are able to continue building their product, since it’s a part-time program which consists of 3-hour weekly sessions for 6 weeks, is free of charge and no equity is taken for participation.
Piotr Tuszyński, who takes the lead of the Startup Next program in Warsaw, said that “Startup Next is an excellent opportunity for startups in our region to best prepare for joining an accelerator or raising seed investment.”
Krzysztof Kowalczyk, Managing Partner of HardGamma Ventures and Founder of GammaRebels, said “HardGamma has been an active investor in the Techstars program in London, so taking part in Startup Next is the next logical step for us,” adding that “we are pleased to become part of the Startup Next family and this opportunity to help play a proactive role in supporting the local and regional ecosystem.”
The program’s motto is “founders first,” and this thinking runs throughout the program’s philosophy of giving a helping hand to early-stage startups which are just beginning their journey.
The program in Warsaw in the next step in increasing the program’s global outreach.

The Startup Next program also provides post-program support to alumni, Costa underlined.

GammaRebels is a startup accelerator program for technology entrepreneurs. It is an intensive 3-month long program held in Warsaw, which ran for two editions (2011 and 2012/2013). The accelerator is focused on early-stage startups, and is managed by HardGamma Ventures, one of Poland’s leading VC funds established in 2011. The fund invests in tech startups based in Poland and the CEE region, as well as London and the US. Previously, HardGamma invested in two editions of Springboard and is an active investor in Techstars London.
